Between September 1st and December 1st, the closing date for residential preferences amongst new candidates for ANU, Burgmann has received applications for its undergraduate places at a rate of three applicants for each place.
There are 300 applicants for no more than 100 residential places for new undergraduate residents next year.
Due to this unprecedented demand, not all offers can be made before Christmas and it will not be possible, given the time constraints, to make personal contact with all applicants. Offers will continue to be made throughout January 2012 on the basis of consistent criteria relating to the need for diversity and balance in academic orientation, gender, international profile, commitments to scholarship holders and community orientation.
